1/12/2016Kai Tak Brand Identity Manual and Public Creatives Guideline
28/1/2015Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) held a media briefing on 22 April 2014 to promote the details of “Public Creatives” concept for the Kai Tak Development (KTD).
28/1/2015CEDD held a number of meetings from April to August 2014 with representatives of professional institutes and the Real Estates Developers Association of Hong Kong to promote the details of “Public Creatives” concept for the KTD. CEDD also provide an information paper to Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin and Kwun Tong District Councils on “Public Creatives” concept in June 2014. All parties generally welcomed this new initiative of the Government taking the lead attempting to establish a place branding for KTD. They generally agreed that quality design for public street furniture and other associated facilities would help in achieving a sense of place and place branding effect.

28/1/2015“Consultancy Services for the Preparation of Public Creatives Design Guidelines for Kai Tak Development” was commissioned in July 2014. The consultancy services is to prepare a set of detailed design guidelines in facilitating concerned departments and relevant parties to integrate “Public Creatives” design elements into different street furniture and display in achieving an overall visual identity and branding for KTD.
28/1/2015The "Design Ideas Competition for Kai Tak River ‧ Kai Tak Development" was open for entries on 26 August 2014. Entries were encouraged to incorporate Public Creatives design for reflecting the holistic design vision and place branding of KTD.
