Current of Vitality

Elaborating Kai Tak as 'the Inheritance, the People, Our Home', the most prominent feature that is evident in all the three roles of the area is its energy of life. A tree represents a life cycle. In ancient civilisations, the tree is often depicted with curved branches. These arches and spirals signify currents of energy, they symbolise an abundance of unremitting energy. This energy of the spiral motif coincides with the profuse vigour in plant patterns. Plant motifs on their own signify life, and spiral patterns signify movements and energy. Combining the two breathes life into the flow of energy, making the flow a 'Current of Vitality'.
