As these projects take form, KTD aims to gradually bring back the energy that once was and give people a visionary new area by the beautiful Victoria Harbour. The project implementation of Kai Tak Development will span two to three decades, during which cities around the world will continue to improve and compete for leading positions. To ensure that Hong Kong stays ahead, KTD needs to adopt a holistic implementation approach supported by orchestrated development with an emphasis on sustainability and quality urban design under a focused brand, instead of the conventional, project-by-project approach driven primarily by functional considerations.
