Stage 1: Understanding Concerns and Envisioning

The Stage 1 Public Engagement Programme of “Building our Kai Tak River” was to enhance public understanding on the project and to collect views from the public via different channels. Two "Community Envisioning" Workshops were held on 11 and 18 December 2010, aiming at soliciting public’s views on the approaches regarding Kai Tak River’s design principles and theme. The comments received at this stage would provide input to the preparation of the preferred design options, which would be promulgated for further discussion in the next stage.
