was conducted by the Contract ET. In spite operation of submersible pump was
covered by valid CNP, CSJV agreed to remove the concerned submersible pump to
avoid nuisance to the nearby residents. The complaint case was found to be
project-related. |

was conducted by the Contract ET. Findings from the investigation showed the
alarm noise was suspected to be produced from the drop bar of the site
ingress. Therefore CSJV agreed to omit the alarm system to minimize noise
nuisance to the nearby residents. For
the dust issue although there was no exceedance from impact air quality
monitoring at the nearest monitoring station but still CSJV was reminded to
maintain good site practice for dust suppression (i.e.: water spraying,
covering to earthy stockpile, vehicle washing, etc.) The complaint case was
found to be project-related. |

boundary adjacent to Concorde Road; -
The main haul road leading to the site
exit at Concorde Road was paved with concrete; -
Wheel washing bay and high pressure water
jets were provided at Gate 1 for washing off the soil and dirt from the
vehicles and wheels before leaving the site; -
The wastewater in the bay was collected by
suction truck; -
Water truck was assigned for cleaning and
wetting the haul road; -
General worker was assigned for cleaning
the dirt near the site exit at Concorde road; -
The load of dump trucks was covered with
tarpaulin before leaving the site The

percussive piling works, the Contractor has obtained the CNP (PP-RE0074-14)
for percussive piling works from 20 December 2014 to 15 June 2015. Regarding to the dust issue, the two stockpiles
were well covered by dust screen and provided with automatic water sprinklers
system, which can mitigate any dust emission nuisance in the vicinity. The complaint case was found to be
project-related. |

ET. According to the investigation results, the major construction activities
conducted in late March 2015 include: 1. Daily
operation and maintenance of the Barging Point Facilities to receive
excavated spoil delivered by Designated and Interfacing Contracts; 2. Temporary
stockpiling of received spoil in the Barging Point Facilities; and 3. Marine
transportation of received spoil to receptor sites for beneficial reuse. Dust
emission from the above construction activities was expected to be minimal
with implemented dust mitigation measures. It is also noted that the entire
driveway within the barging point is fully paved with concrete. The
Contractor had implemented the dust mitigation measures in accordance with
the requirement of EP condition (i.e. 2.18 (a) and 2.18 (c)) and
Specification of this Project as below: For
the unloading of spoil from trucks at barging point, 3-sided screen with top
tipping hall and operating water spray and flexible dust curtains were
provided at the discharge point for dust suppression; Dust
enclosures were provided for the conveyor belt system with providing water
spray at the loading point to suppress the dust emission from the
transportation of spoils on vessel and the stockpile on vessel; Stockpile
of dusty material were sprayed with water regularly to remain the surface wet; Water
spraying was provided to the paved driveway within the barging point for
suppression of fugitive dust. For
construction waste, only small amount of construction waste was generated
from daily operation of Barging Point Facilities. All the construction waste
was disposed to the designated landfill (NENT) and no construction waste were
disposed in Kai Tak Area. The construction waste disposal activities in Kai
Tak Area outside the site boundary of this Contract were not related to this
Contract. The
complaint case was found to be project-related. |

stockpiling of received spoil in the Barging Point Facilities; and 3. Marine
transportation of received spoil to receptor sites for beneficial reuse. Dust
emission from the above construction activities was expected to be minimal
with implemented dust mitigation measures. It is also noted that the entire
driveway within the barging point is fully paved with concrete. The
Contractor had implemented the dust mitigation measures in accordance with
the requirement of EP condition (i.e. 2.18 (a) and 2.18 (c)) and

the unloading of spoil from trucks at barging point, 3-sided screen with top
tipping hall and operating water spray and flexible dust curtains were
provided at the discharge point for dust suppression; 2. Dust
enclosures were provided for the conveyor belt system with providing water
spray at the loading point to suppress the dust emission from the
transportation of spoils on vessel and the stockpile on vessel; 3. Stockpile
of dusty material were sprayed with water regularly to remain the surface

Investigation was conducted by the Contract ET. According to investigation
results, the coverage for the stockpile was removed during the backfilling
works, while the other parts of the stockpile were covered by dust protective
screen. Mitigation measures were implemented to keep the uncovered part wet
during backfilling and completely cover the stockpile after work. Wastewater was treated by sedimentation tanks
with sufficient retention time before discharge into Kai Tak Nullah. All
drainage facilities and erosion and sediment control structures were
regularly inspected and maintained to ensure normal operation at all times
and during rainstorms. Water sampling was conducted monthly in accordance
with the requirement of Effluent Discharge License (License No.
WT00015861-2013). The lab test results complied with the conditions set in
the Effluent Discharge License during the complaint period. The complaint case was found to be
project-related. |

contractors of the said issues by emails, letters and at interface meetings.
All the wastewater generated in the site was treated by wastewater treatment
tanks or AquaSeds before discharge. Also, monthly water monitoring has been
arranged. According to the previous results of water monitoring, all
discharges were comply with discharge license requirements. Regarding
to the dust issue, the Contractor have three major stockpiles in the site.
The three stockpiles were well covered by dust screen and provided with
automatic water sprinklers system or water bower truck. The
complaint case was found to be project-related. |

their hand torch would be changed to lower intensity torch to minimize
